  1. Did armstrong work with me to pay my bill? No.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act I was never mailed a statement that I owed a balance of $8.00. This accrued horrific charges which I knew nothing about as my son carried the cable bill. When he moved, all this came to a head when transferring the account.

Transferring account: Future payee is responsible for past monies owed. Account was never said to be in arrears or any amount. I thought we were in the computer age; they are not.

Under the handicapped law, my handicaps are numerous. First is the fact that I have been through chemo, fibro, severe hearing impairment and with these alone slipups will happen as in this case.

My case-I knew vaguely that there was this small balance but I relied on auto duduct and forgot about it until transfer. There were no letters saying of increase in billing amount. After transfer a bill was mailed with charge of $110.00 extra for the $8.00. I offered to pay a set amount each month, but being on fixed income and changes in heating, meds bills, etc. I feel frauded. The $8.00 has been paid but the other attached amount is rediculous. Also, from what I can understand, charges keep accruing so bill is never paid or is a hardship leading to cancellation of services.
Wish it could be worked out.
Their customer service has to be great to lure more victims in. In the positive-you can cancel at any time.
