What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Bloomingdales Bill
Bloomingdale’s is a department store offering designer clothes, shoes and handbags. Customers can apply for a standard in-store credit card or a Bloomingdale’s American Express. As is the case with most credit cards, the interest rates are determined by the credit score of the applicant and the payment history on the account. Many consumers find they are unable to make credit card payments when limits are high and finance charges make it impossible to pay down the bill.
How to Pay the Bill
Pay with QuickPay: You can pay your Bloomingdale’s bill online at https://www.bloomingdales.com/signin/index.ognc?signIn=required. The QuickPay option is available for both in-store and American Express cards. Customers must allow 48 hours for the payment to post, so if your account is already past due, additional charges may be assessed during the processing time. You’ll need a checking account to make payment using QuickPay.
Pay with FiServ: FiServ is a free payment option for Bloomingdale’s customers. You must enroll in the program to make a payment. Payments are accepted from a checking account only.
Pay at a Bloomingdale’s store: You can take your bill payment to any Bloomingdale’s store in the local area. Cash, money order and personal checks are accepted, but credit and debit cards are not.
Pay by phone: Phone payments are available at 1-866-593-3927. This is the fastest method of making a past due payment, but there is a service charge. Customers need a checking account and the account number for their Bloomingdale’s card to make payment by phone.
Pay by mail: There are two options for mail payments based on the type of card you currently hold.

Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?
Credit card companies typically provide a complete list of fees associated with you billing statement or account. Although provided, you may still need the information to fully understand the charges. If this is the case, you might consider visiting the customer resource page. For additional information, contact customer service at1-866-593-3927.
How the Penalty Fees Work
The Bloomingdale’s Credit card agreement is laced with high fees and even higher APRs. If you don’t make a payment, declare bankruptcy on the bill or die, you will be in default and Bloomingdale’s may take the account to court to resolve the balance.
- APR: 24.50%
- Late payment fee: $25 for the first late payment and $35 for each additional late payment in the next six months.
- Returned payment fee: $25 for the first returned payment and $35 for each additional returned payment in the next six months.
- Minimum interest charge: $2
I Can’t Make a Payment
Bloomingdale’s is not the most flexible company when it comes to late payments. According to the terms and conditions of credit, customers who do not make the minimum payment can be taken to court for the full amount due. In this case, the customer would be responsible for collection fees and other fees associated with the balance. The best option for customers having trouble making payment is to call customer service at 1-866-593-3927 before the payment is due.
