  • Make your Brighthouse payment online: To pay your bill online, visit: http://brighthouse.com/fl-al/bill-pay and login to your account. If you do not have an account, you will need to register for one before you can make your payment online. You can also set up recurring automatic payments to make sure your bill is paid on time every time.
  • To pay your bill in person: visit one of the payment centers.
  • To pay your bill by phone: Call customer service at 1-866-876-1872 and follow the prompts to make your payment.

How The Penalty Fees Work

The customer service representative we spoke to informed us that late fees range from $5 to $15, but did not specify the reason for the difference in amounts, or which amount customers should expect to see on their bill. There was no mention of fees for returned payment or to reconnect services.

I Can’t Make A Payment

Brighthouse does not have any programs in place to help customers who cannot pay their bill. The customer service representative we spoke with said that they will extend payment for no more than 7 business days, but this is not considered a payment arrangement, and they do not offer this option to customers who are behind. If you cannot make your payment on time, your services will be disconnected shortly thereafter, and your bill will need to be paid in full before service will be restored. If you have phone service through this company, you may be eligible for discounted phone service through government programs.
