Cass County Electric bill pay is available in various forms so customers have several options to make payments on-time. Mail is the slowest method of payment, so customers with a fast approaching due date should not send payments by mail.

Pay in person: Cass County Electric customers can visit any Walmart in Fargo to make in person payments. Payments are processed by CheckFree. Customers can also visit the customer service center to make a payment.

How the Penalty Fees Work

There are several penalty fees associated with late payments customers of Cass County Electric pay if bill payment is not received by the date on the bill.

  • Late payment fee: You will be charged $3 or 1.5% of the past due balance on all past due amounts

I Can’t Make a Payment

Fargo, ND is a cold place with long winters and high heating bills. Customers must contact the service department at 1-888-277-4422 to place a past due balance on a payment plan. If your account is disconnected you’ll be required to pay all account balances and collection fees before service can be restored. You must make the call before your bill is due to prevent late payment fees and other possible collection fees.
