What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Cincinnati Bell Bill

Cincinnati Bell is a phone company that offers cable TV, cell phone service, landline phones, home security and energy. A customer could cover nearly all utilities with just one company. Providing multiple services allows customers to bundle services to reduce cost. Cincinnati Bell offers bundles with home phone, Internet, television and cell phone service for less than $130 a month.

How to Pay the Bill

Cincinnati Bell uses a Simple Bill program to make it easier to understand your monthly bill. Customers can make payments online, in person and through the mail.

Pay online: You can pay your Cincinnati Bell bill online at https://my.cincinnatibell.com/SelfCare/UI/Root/Unauthenticated/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fselfcare%2fDefault.aspx. Customers must register for online account access to make payments online. In addition to making payments online, you can access your past bills, current bills and make changes to your account.

Pay automatically: Auto pay is a convenient option that deducts the monthly Cincinnati Bell bill from your bank account on the due date each month. You never have to worry about missing a due date, but you must have the money to cover the bill in the bank when payment is deducted to prevent fees.

Pay at a payment center: You can search for a local payment center using your zip code, desired location radius and type of bill you wish to pay.

Pay by phone: Phone payments are accepted at 1-513-565-2210 or 1-888-391-3925. When the call is answered, say “payments” then “pay my bill” to access phone payment options. If you require a customer service representative to make a payment you will be charged a $5 processing fee.

Pay by mail: Check and money order payments should be sent to:

Cincinnati Bell Telephone
PO Box 748003
Cincinnati, OH 45274-8003

or

Cincinnati Bell Wireless
PO Box 748002
Cincinnati, OH 45274-8002

  • Kentucky – 1.5% of overdue balance.

I Can’t Pay My Bill

According to the FAQs section of the Cincinnati Bell website, customers should contact the service department immediately for payment help if they can’t make a payment. Residential customers should call 1-800-875-1451. Payment arrangements are available to most customers having financial difficulty.

Cincinnati Bell will only disconnect services during normal business hours. If reconnection services are not available the following day, service will not be disconnected. You have a 14 day grace period after the bill is due to make payment before service is disconnected.

Will They Work With Me to Pay My Bill?

With so many divisions and services, Cincinnati Bell is a difficult company to approach. Customers are given contact numbers for wireless, telephone, Internet and television, yet all services are provided as one bundle. Cincinnati Bell does suggest calling customer service as soon as you know you’ll be unable to make a payment. Did this company work for you to resolve your overdue bill?
