CheckFree: Customers can choose to sign-up for MyCheckFree to receive eBills and make payments online. Some banks in the service area also provide eBills via your personal bank account.

ECAM: The Electronic Customer Account Maintenance portal from Cincinnati Water Works allows you to pay your Cincinnati Water Works bill online. Payments made online through ECAM are assessed a fee of $4.69 per transaction if a credit card or debit card is used for payment. Electronic check payments are free.

QuickPay: QuickPay is similar to the online portal, but customers do not need to register for an online account. The account number for your Cincinnati Water Works bill is needed to make payment. This service charges $4.69 per transaction and accepts only credit card and debit cards.

Automated Phone Payment: The automated phone system for Cincinnati Water Works accepts payments 24 hours a day with a credit card or debit card. Customers must call 1-513-591-7700 to make payment. There is a fee of $4.69 per transaction.

In Person: Payments can be made in person at one of three locations. Cash, money order and personal checks are accepted only. No credit card or debit card payments are accepted. All service centers are open from Monday to Friday.

City Treasurer – 801 Plum St in Cincinnati from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Mason Municipal Center – 6000 Mason-Montgomery Rd in Cincinnati from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

How the Penalty Fees Work

  • Late payment fee: Cincinnati Water Works charges a late payment fee of 0.833% per month. Only the past due balance is assessed the late fee.
  • Payment failure: If payment is returned to lack of funds or any other reason, Cincinnati Water Works will charge the customer a $30 fee.
  • Disconnect trip: If a service representative is dispatched to disconnect service for any reason, the account will be charged $35 for the trip.

I Can’t Make a Payment

Customers who cannot make a payment are advised to contact customer service immediately to discuss payment options. The phone number for customer service is 1-513-591-7700. If service is disconnected, the customer will be responsible for the disconnect charge and all other fees assessed on the account in addition to the past due balance before service is reconnected. If you’ve made a payment, contact customer service to verify payment has been received and when reconnection will occur.

  • Call before the due date: Customer service requests customers call the service department before the due date listed on the bill if they are unable to make payment.

  1. I called the other day in regards to my disconnect notice, mention to the the rep I wouldn’t have it till the 10th of Aug. He asked me if I had anything to put toward it and I don’t.   2. I’ve been trying to pay my bill online for several days, and I get the message “website may be down try again later”.I have been working too late each day to call by phone. I have never had problems paying my bill online in the past. It is now friday and i have a disconnection message on my phone. How can I pay this?

The account was formerly in the name of Jill Delgado she has moved and I called you in February and paid the bill in February in the amount of $193.79 and through you were putting this account into my name Carol McKee.
