What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your East Point Bill

The City of East Point, Georgia, offers online bill pay options for residents. Payments options are available for utility payments and traffic citations. Paying traffic citations online does not mean you don’t have to report in court. If you received more than one traffic citation on any given date, you must pay all traffic citations at the same time.

How to Pay the Bill

Pay traffic citations online: You can pay your East Point traffic citations online. If the citation does not require a court appearance, the fine must be paid before 4:30 p.m. on the day before the scheduled court appearance to remove your name from the court case list.

Pay utility bills online: You can pay your East Point bills online at https://eastpointcityonline.org/Click2GovCXP/Index.jsp. You cannot pay your bill online if there is a reconnect or disconnect fee included in the total balance owed. You must pay reconnect bills through the customer service department.

Pay by phone: East Point offers a 3-1-1 payment call center. Residents simply call 3-1-1 from their home phone and talk to a customer service representative about payment options. Payments are accepted by phone.

Pay via Customer Care Center: Customers can visit 2791 East Point St to make payments between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. There is a drop box and drive-thru window at the customer care center.

  1. I am trying to pay part of my bill; however, when I called the city of east point the number that is provided no one seems to come to the phone. I have been on hold for at least 45 minutes twice, and no answer from any agent yet.

  2. I have attempted to pay my bill by phone, and get a busy signal.
    I am not able to log on to my account online and have not been able to since becoming a victim I mean customer of East Point.
    Every single month it is another problem with paying our utility bill.
    Tomorrow I will have to take off work to go to the office and I sure as hell hope I am not charged a late fee because of the inadequacies of the East Point Utility Department.
    The customer service is atrocious.
    I have been sent bills that were not mine.
    Over billled.
    Had our service cut off even when the bill had been paid, Refused to have the reconnection fee refunded.
    The next month I caught the utility truck attempting to do it again, I showed him the paid bill.
    A 3 bedroom house should not have a $422 utility bill.
    I am not sure how you people lay your head down to sleep at night.
