How To Pay The Bill
All Esurance customers are enrolled in automatic billing. Notices are sent in advance of billing, and you can call the company to make arrangements before the money is deducted from your account. If you cannot make your payment on time, your options include changing the due date, altering the insurance coverage to lower the payment, or switching to an alternate payment source. Esurance accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards, plus debit cards and EFT payments from your checking or savings account. To make changes to your account, log in to your esurance.com account.
Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?
Have you seen fees associated with your Esurance billing statement or account? If you do not understand all of the charges, we suggest you visit the Esurance FAQs. For additional information concerning your billing statement or account, you should contact customer service at 1-800-378-7262.
How The Penalty Fees Work
There are no late fees, but if the bill deduction is returned, you will incur bank charges for an overdraft and possibly several more as the system attempts to deduct the payment.
I Can’t Make A Payment
Your Esurance auto insurance policy is paid thirty days in advance. The policy will be canceled until 30 days after the due date of the missed payment. If you make the payment before the time is up, your insurance will not be canceled.
Will They Work With Me To Pay My Bill?
Esurance has limited options for missing a payment. If you call them or log into your account in advance, they can change the due date, lower your coverage to lower the payment, or change from a one-time charge to monthly installments. Most of these changes can be made online and the changes take effect immediately.
