  1. Dear Management:

As an individual who has done business with Ford Motor Company for over ten years I am very disappointed with how your payment system works. In 2011, I opened a lease agreement with Avis Ford for a F150 4×4 Truck after my previous truck had horrible mechanical issues which surfaced right after the truck was paid in full and I had not even hit 80,000 miles, unbelievable, however.

In regards to payment for the lease vehicle, your payment system needs to be updated quickly. When my second payment arrived I mailed in the check that was dated January 13, 2012 and I did not realize when Ford Credit received it the check before January 13th that they would disregard the date and deposit it. The check was dated for January 13th because money was in my account to pay the truck note (lease payment)at that time. I did not realize until the middle part of the month that my Ford Credit account showed non-payment of bill. Furthermore, when I made the second attempt to pay the January payment I was hit with double late fees because I paid on Saturday and it takes two to three business days before the payment shows up at Ford Credit. We are in the 21st Century with great technology and I think that to be fair to your clients that payments made by credit or debit by phone should appear immediately as paid. What is more disturbing is that there is a $7.50 fee attached to the payment made by phone and then it is delayed by two to three business days. This is absurd because then the account is marked late and then there is the occurrence of a late fee. This seems more like a scam to make money off of late fees and payment fees.

I just made a payment on Saturday, March 10, 2012 where I paid the seven $7.50 fee and the payment want register until Monday or Tuesday of next week. This is totally unacceptable.

  2. I’ve tried to pay my bill on this site for 1 1/2hr.your site tells me password username cant use or same?????? what up?It’s late, but I’m mailing it.My paperworks all screwed up.Thanks to Nemer Ford. They should pay any late fees. For not doing their job=correctly.

  3. I think that Ford Credit needs to change. I had problems with online payments with my old bank. Neither them or Ford could get on the same page so I was told out account can no longer take payments online. I think that even if we can’t do it online you should have the option to send in payment over the phone. Just because of a few mistakes you block out any way to pay but Western Union which costs an arm and a leg or snail mail.

    Thats Crap.

  4. I totally agree with comments made about how Ford Credit applies
on line payments. I make other payments online and it does not
take 4 days to post to the account (they are posted the same day).
What gives? Do they need the extra interest money? Because it does get charged and lower the principle amount applied to the loan.

    Lets get with the times.

  5. on apr, 13,2012 i paid my bill on line as of this date apr,22,2012 the amt. of $600.00 has not been withdraw ?WHY?

    • Phone payment system unwieldy. Won’t accept debit card. I can my Harley payment with it, why can’t I pay my Ford payment? Asked for customer assistance. Outsourced person could hardly understand me and I them. No help at all. Called Ford Corporate more no help even from supervisor. Supervisor suggested I contact dealer. Dealer said for me to send them a check and they would pay it for me. Dissappointed. I really like my Mercury Grand Marquis. Gotten no paperwork from Ford Credit. Purchased car back in March. I don’t think they want my money. Maybe my car is free now?

  6. I have made several attempts to make a paymentn on my 2006 Ford Expedition, but have not been successful so I am mailing a payment in the amount of $698.00 today.

The bill pay site would be much simpler if it just asked the account number without having to sign-inwith a user ID and Password. Not everyone has the VIN handy, whic it asks for to sign in.
