Household Bank is a credit card issuer, offering various credit card options to people all over the country. The terms and conditions set with your card, your interest rate, and credit limit will be based on your credit history and income level. Higher risk customers will have lower credit limits and higher interest rates than those with a long-term good credit rating. If there ever comes a time when you cannot pay your bill, here are some options to help you.

I Can’t Make A Payment
If you cannot make a payment on your Household Bank credit card bill, contact customer service immediately. They are able to work with you to create a payment arrangement to keep your credit card account in good standing. Non-payment can lead to other issues, such as late fees and interest rate increases, based on the terms and conditions of your account type. If no payment is made for an extended period of time, a settlement could be offered, to pay a portion of the balance and close the account. It is possible the remaining balance could be sent to collections and reported to credit bureau, affecting your credit score and ability to secure other credit cards and lines of credit in the future.
Will They Work With Me To Pay My Bill?
Household Bank will work with you to pay your bill, as there are options available for people who are experiencing temporary hardship. There are debt settlement offers, as well as debt management counseling available. Customers are much better off working directly with the bank before the account goes into collections rather than a debt settlement agent that works for profit.
