  1. Hi, I have three small chidren and our water got shut off last week because with the way the housing market is my boyfriend hasn’t been getting much work. He has told me that you guys say that there was no real way you would work with us to keep the water on and my question is why? My kids are the most important thing in the world to me and I would do just about anything for them but I feel like I am failing them because I can’t even do something as simple as keep the water on so they can take baths and I can make them bottles. Basically what i’m saying is, why was a payment plan not an option for us? please email me with a response because i would love to know.

  3. Quit say your here to help you not help people with disabilities with there water bill I’m try to get out of someone else name but you or unreliable to understand the problem

  4. My husband and I separated and they wouldn’t put the bill in my name after asking them too several times. The bill was already so high because of the separation and not having as much money..but they didn’t care. Why should I pay on a bill not in my name and they wouldn’t even talk to me about the bill and he had all his mail forwarded so I didn’t even know if it was getting paid by him, the amount, or anything. They told me I was not allowed by him to talk to them about his bill…even tho the mortgage is in my name and I live here and its my house?? Ridiculous. The bill got so high and they kept turning it off..so having kids I’d turn it back on…finally the city deemed the house unfit to live in and kicked us out on the streets and THEN put the high bill in my name finally. $8000 is what I was told finally after debating with them…now this wasn’t even on a statement that was just over the phone. I asked and asked and begged for a statement from them in my name in hopes of getting help from community resources..which I can’t because the bill is so high. I even went into the office on several occociassions and was quoted different amounts for restoration…and had them print me out a copy..one time it was $600 and had the money the next day for them when I went in but then was quoted 1200…have copy…and even going to pay that…when some lady from loss prevention comes out and demands $6000 or they won’t turn it on…I asked for a bill or some kind of statement for those charges and she said she could not provide me one because there was no bill in my name yet. I then showed her one I had dates that month that said I only owed $450 and she said well that’s not correct and your ex husbands been in here and he told me he’s been gone since Jan 2013 and even said to me and he said you haven’t seen your kid in 9 months. I told her what does that have to do with my water bill…and guess he didn’t tell you ran into my house stole everything tore it up and grabbed my son from my life and his him from me those 9 months. And then went on to say that if they knew he was gone since Jan. 2013 why the hell would they continue to bill him and not grant me demands for my own bill so I could have known what to pay when to pay and been able to take care of my water at my house??? She then said because your still associated with him. Does that make since to anyone out there?? Please for the love of decent humanity and common sense….get fucking real with it…I’m associates with him but not allowed to discuss the bill and now you want me to pay the bill…wow…that’s all I can think now…wow!! Been hopeless now since June and still fighting to get back into my home so my babies can come back home…all over this water bill that wasn’t even my bill. Wow!!!
