What to Do When I Can’t Pay My Military Star Card Bill

The Military Star Card credit card program was designed for service personnel, both active and retired, to re-establish credit, build credit or provide credit at a reasonable interest rate. There are no annual fees or late payment fees associated with the Military Star Card.

How to Pay the Bill

There is very little information on the Military Star Card available to anyone outside of the military. There is a link for account holders to log-in. Once logged in, payment addresses are listed.

Pay online: You can pay your Military Star card bill online at https://shop.aafes.com/shop/Login.aspx?ReturnURL=https://shop.aafes.com/shop/Default.aspx?loc=ECC/Default.aspx. You must register for account access, but you only need the last four digits of your social security number, your date of birth and your last name to register. The account is associated with your social security number.

Pay by mail: You can mail payment to the address listed on your bill. There are also billing addresses listed within your account page after you log-in.

While none of the payment addresses are listed for the Military Star card, there are plenty of customer service phone numbers. If you have questions about your account, contact the appropriate customer service department.

How the Penalty Fees Work

There are no penalty fees listed for the Military Star card. This is not surprising as most of the account and customer service information is reserved for military personnel with a Star card. You may be able to find more information on the Terms and Conditions of the card.

I Can’t Make a Payment

Again, there could be payment plans and financial help for customers carrying a Military Star card, but all information is hidden behind the log-in page. Contact customer service at 1-800-527-2345 for more information on payment plans. There is a page on the Military Star card website to resolve returned checks. We are not sure how this page is used because the customer only enters contact information and the age of the returned check.

  1. On April 7, I used my Star Card to check on my bill to see if I owed any money on my card, and I also purchased a Western Union Money Gram for my son. I didn’t get my card back after checking for it. When I got to Germany, I couldn’t find it. I have been looking for everywher for it. I went back to the BX in Lajes where I made the transactions,but they stated that theydidn’t find it. My card is paid in full. How do I get a replacement?

I AM A 100% va DISABLED VET…In 2008 I lost my business, and I was unable to pay back installments on about $4500..I moved to a new address…Sometime later I saw that Trans World Systems was deducting money from my much needed Social Security check…This year I got a statement that Trans World was deducting $101…When I called they said I haven’t been paying the principle these past 7 years but interest and now I owed $6700..I can never pay this back..I have no bank account and I live on my Disability and VA checks….How do I stop them from deducting my SS check?
