How the Penalty Fees Work
If you are behind on your New Wave Communications bill, you may see some service fees pop up on your bill. These may include:
- Late payment charge: $7 applied to your account on the 21st day after the bill is printed.
- Returned payment charge: Up to $30, depending on state laws. If the fee is not paid within 30 days, the bill will be sent to collection, which will lead to additional fees.
- Fees for Equipment: If you don’t return your New Wave Communications equipment, you will be charged for the equipment. Fees range from $15 to more than $500 per piece of equipment.
