How to Pay the Bill

Pay online: Customers can pay your Raleigh Water bill online by visiting https://ubwss.raleighnc.gov/SelfService/SSvcController/login. Raleigh Water does not charge a convenience fee when customers pay their bill online.

Auto pay: Customers can have their Raleigh Water bill automatically deducted from their savings or checking account on a monthly basis. The payment is deducted on the established due date. How the Penalty Fees Work

Raleigh Water charges fees for insufficient funds as well as reconnection fees and trip charges. Restoring services requires customers to pay the full amount to one of the convenient locations or by phone.

  • Insufficient funds – $25
  • Trip charge – $50
  • Reconnection – $75
  • Multiple trips – $100

I Can’t Make a Payment

Customers are encouraged to call customer service at 1-919-890-3245 to set up payment arrangements when they cannot pay your Raleigh Water bill. The customer service representative we spoke to informed us that there are no assistance programs available to customers of Raleigh Water, only payment arrangements. They informed us of information on their website that teaches customers the proper ways to conserve water, resulting in a lower Raleigh Water bill.

  1. My water bill is almost $1000 an its turned off. I have kids an been out of work because of surgery. When I call city of Raleigh they wont help me. I don’t know what to do.
