How To Pay The Bill

How The Penalty Fees Work

For electric service:

  • Deposit for Reconnection of Service: equal to twice your average monthly bill.
  • Turn on fee (applies for one or both services): $20 next day service, $35 same day service, $50 after hours.
  • Special appointment turn on fee: $10 in addition to applicable fee from above.
  • Returned payment fee: in accordance with Riverside City ordinance.

For water services:

  • Deposit for Reconnection of Service: three times the average bill amount, or $40 minimum.
  • Turn on fee (applies for one or both services): $20 next day service, $35 same day service, $50 after hours.
  • Special appointment turn on fee: $10 in addition to applicable fee from above.
  • Returned payment fee: in accordance with Riverside City ordinance.
