What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Suntrust Bill
Suntrust is a consumer and business bank offering online bill payment to bank customers. The service is free, but new fees in 2011 could turn customers away from Suntrust. As of 2011, some customers will be charged a monthly maintenance fee of $7 in addition to other various fees.
Suntrust bill pay works the same as most other banks with online account access. Customers search for biller names and addresses through online banking and add the billers to their online account. If biller information is unavailable, customers can add the biller with the name, address and account number. Customers can also setup payment reminders and recurring payments.
How to Pay the Bill
Customers wishing to use Suntrust bill pay must have a bank account with Suntrust. Customers can apply for a Suntrust account at any local branch of the bank. Once you have an account with Suntrust, you can sign up for online banking via the Suntrust website. You can add online banking when you open the account at a local branch, as well.
Pay online: You can pay your Suntrust bill online at https://www.suntrust.com/PersonalBanking. You will need your sign-in ID and password to log in to your account.
