What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your York Water Company Bill
The York Water Company supplies potable drinking water to residents in York, Pennsylvania. How to Pay the Bill
If you wish to make a payment online, you’ll need to register for online account access. There is no fee for registering for an account.
Pay one-time: You can pay your York Water Company bill online at https://ipn.paymentus.com/epd/stde/yrkw. The service is provided by Paymentus and thus there is a service fee associated with payment. If you pay with a credit card you’ll be charged a $1.25 fee for every $100 payment. For instance, if your bill is $250, you’ll be required to pay (3) service fees totaling $3.75.
Pay online: You can also register for online account access to process your bill payment. Credit card payments are not accepted through the Customer Dashboard for the York Water Company.
Pay by phone: Call 1-866-665-9578 to pay by phone. There is no mention of a service fee associated with phone payments but this number is for IVR and not The York Water Company.
Pay directly: Direct debits are available if you give The York Water Company permission to debit your checking or savings account each month. You’ll need to fill out the direct debit or TAP form.
Pay by mail: The mailing address for The York Water Company can be used to send personal check or money order payments.

How the Penalty Fees Work

- Restoration fee: $15 or the actual amount of the service call, whichever is greater.
- Returned payment fee: $10 per returned payment.
