What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your US Bank Auto Loan Bill
The US Bank auto loan program is open for all to apply, but the bank is known for accepting only applicants with A and A+ credit. In some cases, customers with credit scores below 674 will qualify, but only rarely. Once a customer is approved for the auto loan, they purchase a vehicle and US Bank places a lien on that vehicle until the auto loan is paid off. Payments can be made online, by phone and in person at US Bank locations.
How to Pay the Bill
Mail payments are the slowest and Internet payments the fastest. Choose your payment option based on the amount of time you have until your bill is due.
Pay online: You can pay your US Bank auto loan payment online at https://www4.usbank.com/internetBanking/RequestRouter?requestCmdId=DisplayLoginPage. If you have trouble logging in or you need help registering, contact online customer service at 1-800-872-2657.
Pay by phone: There is a local number for US Bank locations in the United States available on the US Bank website. You can contact customer service at one of these numbers to make a payment or the main customer service phone number at 1-800-872-2657.
Pay by mail: Most auto loan companies allow buyers to pay off auto loans with personal check and money order payments. Your billing statement will have the billing address listed. That is the address you need to use to make your payment. That address will be different depending on the originating point of the loan. For instance, loans originating in Cincinnati may have a different mailing address than loans originating in Portland.

How the Penalty Fees Work
Your US Bank Auto Loan required you to sign a contract. That contract stated your payment was due on a specific date, but it also listed penalty fees charged for paying late and other infractions to your account. These penalty fees are not listed on the US Bank website so contact customer service for more information or refer to your auto loan paperwork.
