How The Penalty Fees Work

You may be charged a late fee if your payment is not posted by the due date on the account, or if you make less than the minimum payment due. Your interest rate may also increase, depending on various factors such as your previous payment history, your credit limit and how close you are to it, etc. You may also be charged a fee if you exceed your credit limit, or if your payment is returned by the bank.

  • Late payment fee: Up to $35 per month.
  • Returned payment fee: Up to $35 per returned payment.
  • Balance transfer fee: $5 or 5% of the balance, whichever is greater.
  • Cash advance fee: $10 or 5% of the cash advance, whichever is greater.

I Can’t Make A Payment

  1. I made a payment of 100$ not realizing the minimum was $107.
I received a late fee of $35. I called several times with the same answer. Wells Fargo loves to take peoples’s money. I will definitely let everyone know to be very careful. This economy has made it very difficult to pay our bills and banks like these are horrendous.
