Wow Communications Bill

What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Wow! Bill

Wow! Is a communications company that offers Internet, cable TV and home phone service to Michigan, Illinois, Cleveland, Columbus and Evansville. The cable company is slightly less formal that other companies, but that could be the basis of the marketing scheme to leave customers saying WoW! The company clearly puts a lot of weight on bundles. There are more than 10 bundle options for customers and most are less expensive than cable company competitors.

How to Pay the Bill

With a smaller company come fewer payment options. Wow! offers just four payment options.

Pay online: Customers can register for online account access to make payments online. You can pay your Wow! bill online at https://login.wowway.com/login2.aspx?appID=150.

Pay by mail: The mailing address for bill payment is:

Wow!
PO Box 5715
Carol Stream, IL 60197-5505

Pay at a payment location: Payment locations are available in the five service areas. From the Payment Location page, simply choose your area from the drop down menu for a complete list of payment locations.

Pay by phone: Phone payments may be processed through customer service at 1-866-496-9669.

Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

If your bill shows fees you don’t understand, visit the FAQs page for Wow! Cable. the page lists the top 5 FAQs and sections for cable billing, pay per view and video on demand services. If you need additional questions answered, call customer service at 1-866-496-9669.

How the Penalty Fees Work

We are impressed with how easily information is located on the Wow! website. According to the terms and conditions customers will be assessed fees if they can’t make payment.

  • Late payment fee: $5 per month there is a past due balance.
  • Disconnect and reconnect fees: A separate service call fee may be assessed if Wow! has to send a service provider to your home. If service is disconnected for non-payment, the customer is responsible for paying all past due balances and fees before service will be restored. If the customer does not wish to restore service, they are still responsible for all bills and fees, plus they must return any Wow! equipment.

I Can’t Pay My Bill

WOW! is a customer service based company. If you are having trouble making your cable, Internet or phone payment contact customer service at 1-866-496-9669 to place your past due account on a payment plan. There are no payment plan details listed on the website, but customer service assured us payment plan options are available for customers.

Will They Work With Me to Pay My Bill?

We love the look and feel of the Wow! company, but we have no idea how the customer service team responds to late payments and past due account balances. Did the company call frequently? Were you able to work out a payment plan and keep service? Let us know how Wow! worked for you.

  1. They are very flexible with payment options..If your bill ends up 45 days past due, they will allow you to reconnect your service for 5 days for a $5 fee. If you don’t pay within that 5 days they will disconnect your service again. If you still can’t pay, you can speak with their collections department and they will allow you to reconnect for another 2 weeks if you agree to pay your current bill and the past due amount. This option requires you to provide your debit card/credit card/checking account.

They are always polite and easy to work with. I’ve never dealt with a rude employee and I’ve been a client for about 4 years. (I can not say the same for Time Warner who I dropped to switch to WoW.)

  2. I am trying to set up an account online. Says one is already set up. I do not know what that could be…Could someone please help so I can pay online. Or I will have to call in every month. Acct. name is under my husbands name Terry Mayfield.

  3. I can not pay my bill on line thru u.s bank,it says the zip code is invalid ? could you please send me info …

  4. My bill is currently due on the 3rd of every month. This month it fell where I did not get paid until the 7th. I called wow! to see about an extension or about getting on a payment plan so that it would not put me in past due status. The rep told me that they give everyone a 10 day grace period after the due date to allow them to make a payment before going into past due. After those 10 days a late fee is added.
