How The Penalty Fees Work

The customer service representative we spoke to informed us that late fees range from $5 to $15, but did not specify the reason for the difference in amounts, or which amount customers should expect to see on their bill. There was no mention of fees for returned payment or to reconnect services.

I Can’t Make A Payment

Brighthouse does not have any programs in place to help customers who cannot pay their bill. The customer service representative we spoke with said that they will extend payment for no more than 7 business days, but this is not considered a payment arrangement, and they do not offer this option to customers who are behind. If you cannot make your payment on time, your services will be disconnected shortly thereafter, and your bill will need to be paid in full before service will be restored. If you have phone service through this company, you may be eligible for discounted phone service through government programs.

Although I couldnt afford your $100 a mo.bill,and asked to have my internet disconnected 3 times,my teenaged son called and your representative listened to his pleas and left it on repeatedly.I didn’t have a computer,so I did not know until I received a new bill each month.I returned my equipment,yet my bill was never credited for that amt.,and it’s now gone on my credit report I’ve just learned.Can a mgr.,or someone knowledgeable please call or email me to discuss this?? This wouldn’t be owed if you had listened to me instead of a child. He had no acct with you. Thank you.

  3. Trying to find out about the amnesty program I was told I missed it by two days. I was being double billed my apt makes us pay for standard cable with bright house and I upgraded well brim after four months of arguing on the phone I had them disconnect my service. I was paying all the fees again to bright house they would not adjust the 40 I pay to the apt in rent and they send to bright house . Been trying to fix it for three yes to go back and have service . My son qualified for the free internet through Hillsboroufh county but they want me to pay the fraudulent bill before he can access the intent HELP ME

  4. OK here’s the deal. Try to login to pay my bill but I’m prompted that I do not exist. You want my payment then let me login. I’ll try again tomorrow. If not fixed I move to AT&T as I had them before and they have a functional internet that does not freeze up during peak hours or during wind and rain. Their lines are also not chewed up by squirrels that you refuse to repair as well.
