Chevron is a gas company offering a consumer gas credit card to customers. The credit card can be used at any Chevron to purchase gas and products in the store. There is also a Visa Chevron card available to make other types of purchases. Chevron is affiliated with Texaco. How the Penalty Fees Work

As is the case with most credit cards, there is a long list of fees associated with the Chevron credit card.

  • Annual fee: A $25 annual fee is charged to all customers with a Premium card account.
  • Minimum interest charge: $2 per billing cycle.
  • Cash advance fee: $10 or 5% of the cash advance, whichever is higher.
  • Late payment fee: Up to $35, based on the previous account history.
  • APR purchases: 26.99%
  • APR cash advance: 29.99%

I Can’t Make a Payment

Credit card customers need to contact customer service as soon as they know they’ll be unable to make a payment. Credit card fees can add up quickly, forcing an account over the credit limit and the monthly payment even higher. The customer service phone number is 1-800-243-8766. Credit cards are already on a reduced payment plan, so Chevron may not be willing to place the past due balance on a payment plan without closing the account.

If the account is closed due to non-payment, Chevron may choose to place the account with a collection agency. This could increase fees and total amount owed.

  1. I tried to make a payment on line, I put in my checking account number correctly, but I kept getting a response implying the number was incorrect. Is there anything you can do about my situation. I dont want to have to pay $14.00 to pay a recorded voice.

    know why payment system was changed it use to be very easy to make a payment now you have to fight the system to even find your account maybe you might get lucky and it pop up.

  5. I too am having trouble locating you and the Bill Pay section. This is not the first time this has happened. I’ll take most of the blame but you guys changed your format at the same time we were installing a new computer. I’m a novice at computer bill pay and just when I get used to a format you change it.
