Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

Several mortgage companies hide fees such as late payment charges or interest fees. EMC Mortgage does not display the list of fees on the official website, so customers may want to review the customer resource page for additional information. You can also contact a customer service representative at 1-800-723-3004 for detailed information about your EMC Mortgage billing statement or account.

How The Penalty Fees Work

We were not able to find out about specific penalty fee amounts, but you may be charged a late fee if you do not pay the full amount due by the due date. If you make a payment, but your bank returns it, you could be charged a fee for non-sufficient funds, in addition to the fees incurred by your bank. For more information about the fees, contact customer service at: (800) 723-3004.

I Can’t Make A Payment

If you cannot make your EMC Mortgage payment, contact customer service immediately to discuss your options. You may be able to work out a payment arrangement that will allow you to make payments on the past due balance while you stay in the home. You may also be able to refinance your home to get a lower, more affordable payment. As long as you contact the lender and make every effort you can, you should be able to avoid foreclosure.

Will They Work With Me To Pay My Bill?

In most cases, EMC Mortgage will make every attempt to work with you on your past due mortgage, but a lot of what they can do will depend on your credit rating and your past payment record with them.
