What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your Foremost Bill

Foremost is an insurance company providing insurance for homes, automobiles, off-road vehicles and boats. The official website for Foremost Insurance supports payments for all Foremost policies, Farmers Insurance Group policies and Bristol West Insurance Group policies. Some insurance policies offered by Foremost are required by law, such as auto insurance.

How to Pay the Bill

Foremost bill pay offers customers multiple options to make payments on-time.

Pay online: You can pay your Foremost bill online at Registration is not required to make a payment, but you need to have your insurance policy number on-hand to process payment. You need to enter the first 13 digits of the insurance policy only. If there are more than 13-digits in your policy number, enter only the first 13.

Pay online Foremost Auto policy: You can pay your Foremost Auto policy bill online through the Bristol West Website.

Pay automatically: You can set-up auto pay for your Foremost insurance bill online. You must register for online account access to enter banking information. Payments will be deducted on the due date each month. If funds are not available to make payment, you may be required to pay a late payment fee to Foremost Insurance and an insufficient funds fee to your bank.

Pay by phone: Customer service representatives are available during normal business hours to take payments by phone. The payment phone number for Foremost Insurance policies is 1-800-532-4221. If you need to make payment on a Foremost Auto policy call 1-888-888-0080.

Questions About Your Billing Statement or Account?

Foremost Insurance doesn’t offer a FAQs section describing fees or charges assessed customers. The customer service department may have a list of fees at 1-800-532-4221. Bristol West and Foremost Auto customers should call 1-888-888-0080 for customer service.

How the Penalty Fees Work

There is no information on the Foremost bill pay website regarding late payment fees or other penalty fees. We assume there are late payment fees and returned payment fees in place to protect Foremost Insurance, but these fees may be available only to customers.

I Can’t Make a Payment

Foremost Insurance does not provide customer support for past due balances online. The customer service department at 1-800-532-4221 (Foremost Insurance) or 1-888-888-0080 (auto insurance) may have more information on payment plans and budget billing. If you do not pay your insurance bill on-time, Foremost may cancel your policy; leaving you without coverage. In the case of auto insurance, insurance coverage must be maintained by law.

  5. I have been trying to pay my bill online and via phone to no avail I am have no luck each system indicated I need 13 digit number when myvpolicy only list 12 character what am I to do? My policy expires tonight

  7. I have 2 policies with Foremost. The one for my home ending in 4353-14 I have no problem going on line and paying. The other one is for a rental mobile home I own ending in 5735 and I CANNOT find a way to be able to pay that policy on line. Foremost says they don’t recognize the policy #. WHY?
