I Can’t Pay My Bill

HSBC Auto, or Santander Consumer USA, will allow the customer to move a payment due date once during the term of the loan. This move is permanent and the new due date must occur no more than 29 days in the future. The last available due date is the 25th of the month, no matter the original due date.

In some cases, consumers may be able to skip one payment during the life of the loan. This move tacks the missed payment onto the end of the term.

Will They Work With Me to Pay My Bill?

Santander will work with consumers having difficulty making a payment. One customer we spoke with assured us moving a payment is rather easy, but only one payment can be moved during the life of the loan, which often ranges from three to seven years.
