What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your QuikTrip Bill

QuikTrip (QT) is a chain of gas stations with extensive convenience stores that offer bottled and fountain drinks, coffee, a large selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, and pastries and the usual convenience store prepackaged food. The QuikTrip credit card is a line of credit that you can use at any QuikTrip location. The card is issued by UMB Bank. The card carries no annual fee and lets you save 5 cents per gallon of gas on the first 400 gallons that you purchase in the first five billing cycles after you get the card. The card can be used either at the pump or in the store. A paperless statement option is available.

How To Pay The Bill

You have several options for paying your QuikTrip bill.

Pay Online:
There is great online access to your QuikTrip account that will let you make payments, view your statement and payment history, and sign up for paperless statements.

Pay By Mail:
Send a QuikTrip payment, either check or money order, to:

Make sure you allow enough days for the payment to arrive by the date that it is due.

Pay By Phone:
You can pay your QuikTrip bill by calling 800-421-2273.

There is no fee for paying your bill through a customer service representative on the telephone.

How The Penalty Fees Work

The QuikTrip card has an Annual Percent Rate (APR) of 18.00%. If you make a late payment, a penalty APR of 22.00% will apply to your account until you make six consecutive payments of at least the minimum payment due.

QuikTrip allows a grace period of 21 days from the close of the billing cycle to the date the payment is due. To avoid paying interest on your QuikTrip bill you must pay your bill in full by the due date of every billing cycle. The minimum interest charge is $0.50.

QuikTrip’s late payment fee is “up to $35.00.”

QuikTrip’s returned payment fee is “up to 35.00″

I called the QuikTrip customer service number (800-421-2273) and it was answered right away by a friendly customer service representative with an American accent. No actual information is available about how they might work with you if you are unable to pay the bill.

  1. I have been trying for 3 days to make a payment but the site keeps telling me that there is a problem with the information im submitting. I went in set up a new acount like i was suppose to and it’s not accepting my information. Now my account is going to be deliquent. How do you expect card holders to make payments on time when the web site is not working. Please contact me I do want my account deliquent.

  2. I have been having the same issue for 6 weeks. The website is down and you do not receive any information as to HOW you can pay your bill. This BULL!!

  3. Every time I try to pay my bill on line, I cannot find a simple easy way to pay it. I always have to call and speak to someone to get to the websight and each time someone says something different as what to type in to get to the pay screen and now the web sight is down. Why do you make things difficult? I have a suggestion: Type in Quiktrip, click on pay bill, sign in, bill shows up, put in amount to pay, click, send, Done. All my bills are that simple and easy to pay as I discribed above. You make it impossible. I had to mail it in last month because I could not find pay bill. What a bad websight you have. Who ever designed it, Fire Them!

  4. having all kind of trouble making my opayments ur web site really suxx ,then u charge me $25 late fee ,really about to cancel this card ,way to stressful.

  6. I have tried for three months to pay my bill on line and can’t because the web sight does not work. I had to call to pay and now that doesn’t work. Other bills I pay on line is simple and easy. You make it difficult and your web sight never works. Who ever programed your sight is Dumb. Ignorant, and Stupid. I now have to mail the payment in sense I can’t pay it by computer or phone. Thanks Quick Trip for lousy service.
