Shell is a gas company offering gift and gas credit cards for retail gas purchases. Customers can find all the information they need to make a payment on the official website, but there are no programs available for customers having trouble making payments. Credit card companies are in the business of interest. The later your payments arrive, the more interest they charge and the more profit they make. How to Pay the Bill

Shell offers multiple credit cards. With multiple cards come multiple payment options.

Phone payment Shell $aver: Contact 1-877-278-0083 if you have a Shell $aver card. Customer service is available for questions and payment.

Phone payment Shell card: Contact 1-800-331-3703 to make payment by phone.

Phone payment Shell Mastercard: 1-866-743-5562 to make payment by phone.

Online payment Shell card: You can pay your Shell bill online at if you have a Shell card. This card does NOT have a Mastercard logo.

Online payment Shell Mastercard: You can pay your Shell bill online at if you have a Shell Mastercard.

Mail payments Shell card: Customers can send money order and personal check payments to the following addresses.

How the Penalty Fees Work

Penalty fees associated with Shell cards may differ between accounts. Corporate and fleet cards will likely have different terms and conditions than customer cards. If you hold a corporate or fleet card, the terms and conditions are listed on the application page for your particular card.

  • Late payment fee: Up to $35
  • Returned payment fee: Up to $35
  • Minimum interest charge: $2
  • Cash advance fee: $10 or 5% of the total cash advance
  • APR: 24.99% on purchases and 29.95% on cash advances

I Can’t Make a Payment

This department should have contact information for your card services department. Credit card companies profit from your financial troubles, so waiting or dodging calls about a late Shell bill is exactly what the company wants consumers to do.

  1. I took out a credit card with you and I feel as though some the charges are not mine and I need your help in resolving these issues with you. My credit limit was $300.00 and I never went over the $300.00 dollar limit and know I got my credit history and it says that I owe $662.00 dollars on my Shell credit card and that just can’t be true. I need to resolve the $362.00 dollars that I did not run up. I believe someone stole my Gas card and ran up the bill the extra $362.00 and I was robbed and things taken from me and I was unable to pay my $300.00 because my Social Security payments had stopped because someone had called in to the Social Security Administration and stated that I didn’t need the money anymore which was not true, I later became homeless and walking the streets and unable to pay my bills and I was mugged and other unspeakable things happened to me which resulted in memory loss. I would like to apologize for me not being able to meet my bills with Shell. I am hoping that you will write off the extra $362.00 that I did not run up.   3. I have been trying to pay my bill online for 3 days. Can’t find anywhere to make a new sign in account. I tried to register my card through the Citi Bank pay online account but after I put my information in, I’m told that it doesn’t match the information they have. The web site is not user friendly. All I want to do is pay my bill. I will call on Monday to talk to someone and I will not pay a late fee. I should have been able to do this online without any problems.

  4. Tried to login to my shell account with NO success!! where is the access website?? it’s not the allowing me to sign in with the website given on my renewed card notice?? Very aggravating!!
