What to Do When You Can’t Pay Your US Bank Bill
US Bank is not a biller, but the bank does provide bill pay options for customers with an account. Both checking and savings accounts can be used with the free US Bank bill pay option. Payments are sent electronically and by mail. Customers can send payment to anyone in the United States as long as they have an address where the check can be received. Checks are made out to the company or person receiving the check. Electronic payments are credited to your account with a company offering electronic payment processing.
How to Pay the Bill
To take advantage of US Bank bill pay you must have a US Bank account. Customers can apply for an account online or at any local US Bank. Once you have funded your account, you can sign up for online bill pay and online account access.
If you are facing disconnection for non-payment, US Bank bill pay is not the best option. Bill payments take time to process and some companies require two to three business days to credit bank payments on their end. Your service could be interrupted if there is a delay in payment.
