What To Do When You Can’t Pay Your Verizon FiOS Bill

Verizon FiOS is a cable company offering digital telephone, high-speed Internet, and digital TV services to customers in certain areas of the United States. These services are offered individually as well as in a variety of bundles to offer discounts for using multiple services. Often, these service bundle discounts only last for a certain length of time, after which point they go up, and possibly become hard to manage. Not all services are available in all areas.

How To Pay The Bill

There are many different ways to pay your Verizon FiOS bill, including online, over the phone, and by U.S. mail. Some Verizon store locations may also accept payments in person.

To pay your Verizon FiOS bill over the phone: Call customer service at 1-800-837-4966. Customer service agents are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To pay your bill by mail, send the payment to:

Dallas, TX 75266-0108.

Allow seven to 10 days for additional processing time before the payment is posted to your account.

Customers with questions about billing and fees can use the Customer Support FAQs to answer commonly asked questions. Customer service is available 24 hours a day at 1-800-837-4966.

How The Penalty Fees Work

For customers who do not pay their bill in full by the due date listed, there will be a late fee imposed on the past due portion. The late fee is based on a percentage of the overall past due bill. There may be a fee associated with service restoration, and with returned checks. We were not able to speak to a customer service representative in regards to late fees.

I Can’t Make A Payment

If you cannot make a payment, call customer service as soon as you can to discuss your options. There are no programs in place to help customers who are behind on their bills, and payment arrangements may or may not be available. Our attempt to contact customer service did not help us get any information about how customers who are having trouble can handle the situation. If you cannot pay your bill on time, it is possible your services will be disconnected.

  3. I am a Verizon mobile and fios subscriber.. Each month I attempt to pay my bills and paying the wireless is no problem, but paying the fios bill is a hassle. Can you please make it simple so that both bills have the same format.,

  5. I’ve never experienced such a difficult time paying a bill as I have with FIOS. It is so screwed up and takes you a half hour to get no one to talk to. It needs to be streamlined for the customers — whom Verizon views as third rate.

  6. Every month when I try to pay my Fios residential bill, the bill payment site automatically takes me to Verizon wireless. Why don’t you bundle the bills so customers don’t have this hassle. I called customer service and had issues with the automated service. What does it take to talk to a real person? I have just about had it. I am ready to switch to Comcast and AT&T. I have been a customer for more than 17 years. FIX THIS PROBLEM.

  8. Your billing is so weird they charge you a month in advance and I am unable to pay my bill I have asked for senior discount and Verizon said no. I was just been told that I have stage 4 kidney problems and I can not work right now I can only pay once a month and they will turn me off but this is the only thing I have.   9. I’m switching. The bill is high and there is zero customer service. I’ve been locked out of my account for 2 weeks and WANT TO PAY. They make it impossible!
